The RAF Halton Sprint Triathlon - raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care - has sold out for the second year in a row with 250 people gearing up to take part in the challenge on Sunday 3 May.
Now in its fourth year the event, organised in conjunction with RAF Halton, has a Mini Olympic option (600m swim, 30km cycle road race and a 6.5km road run) and Super Sprint (300m swim, 20km cycle road race and a 6.5km road run).
Gillian Barnett, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Rennie Grove, said: “We are really pleased this event has proved so popular once more. If you see any of the participants out on the day doing their run or cycle we hope you will support them and encourage them to the finish line.”
Entrants will start the event throughout the morning from around 8.30am and the course will take them through Halton, Weston Turville and Wendover.
