Raising money for charity is a great way to honour a loved one's memory, and there are a number of different ways that you can raise funds through your Forever Loved Fund.
If your loved one has died recently, you might like to use your Fund to invite donations in place of funeral flowers. You will be able to share the link to the Fund with friends and relatives and they will be able to make online donations and leave special messages in memory. You can also add in any money collected on the day or in the run up to the funeral as an "off-line" donation so that the amount is counted in the total raised by the Fund.
At some point, you or other friends or family members might decide that they would like to raise more money in memory, perhaps to mark a birthday or anniversary, or just because they want to.
Here are some ideas:
Raise money in memory by signing up to take part in one of Rennie Grove’s annual programme of active events. Whether you like to cycle, run, walk or swim, there is an event to suit. See the full list.
Choose your Challenge
Perhaps you’d rather choose a challenge with a difference like climbing a mountain or jumping out of an aeroplane. You can find some ideas here.
Organise your own event
You might also organise a special event in remembrance like a coffee morning, concert, quiz night or golf day.
Fundraise on Forever Loved
Set up an event page as part of your Forever Loved Fund. You can share the link with family, friends and work colleagues and raise money online to help the total on your Forever Loved Fund rise as a fitting memorial to your loved one. You can also add in any cash you that you raise as an “offline donation” so that it also counts towards your Forever Loved Fund.
