Support for Family and Friends

If a member of your family or a close friend or colleague has just been diagnosed with cancer or another life-limiting illness and you are not sure where to turn for information and support, we may be able to help you.

Support for everyone

Our Information & Support Centre

Our Information & Support Centre is based at Grove House in St Albans and is open to everyone. We aim to answer your questions and if you aren't able to access our extended support service provided for family and friends of our patients, we'll advise you about other organisations that might be able to help.  Find out more

Our Drop-in Session

Anyone is also welcome to attend our special Drop-in Sessions held on a Tuesday morning at Grove House between 9am and 1pm.  These sessions are designed to enable anyone interested to come along and find out more about what we do and how we might be able to help.  Once again, if you aren't able to access our extended support service provided for family and friends of our patients, we'll advise you about other organisations that might be able to help give you the support you need.  Read more about our Drop-in Sessions.

Support for the families and friends of our patients

If your family member or friend is one of our patients, we also offer a range of services to help you support them. We know that being there for a loved one with cancer or other life-limiting illness can be extremely difficult but we also know that having you there is really important to our patients’ well-being. So we’re here to help you cope too. We offer a range of support services to help you during the illness and through bereavement.
