Every year our Rhyme & Reason Fundraising Group publishes a book of writing, mostly by local writers of all ages, which is published in diary format in time for Christmas. It has been running for 26 years, raising money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care and provides an opportunity for many writers to see their work in print for the first time.
The 2017 Rhyme & Reason Writing Competition
This year's competition is now open,
the theme is 'Freedom'.
: Entry costs £5 per piece for adults (£4 per piece for three or more entries) and £1 per entry for children. We accept poems up to 20 lines and prose entries up to 400 words. All proceeds, except for prizes, go to Rennie Grove and we have raised over £57,000 over the 26 years.
