If you’re looking to really test yourself, why not take on an individual sponsored challenge? There are a wide range of challenges on offer, and if you choose to raise money for Rennie Grove, we're here to look after you throughout your fundraising challenge. We will be able to provide you with:

  • An online giving page for you to start your fundraising
  • A personalised hard copy sponsor form
  • Online giving business notification cards 
  • Posters for you to promote your fundraising events 
  • A Rennie Grove t-shirt to wear during any training or at events 
  • Invaluable moral support and guidance

Herts 10k finish lineRunning Challenges

Why not challenge yourself to take part in an organised running event? Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, there are distances to suit everyone of all abilities. Choose from a whole host of different events, either here in the UK or abroad, such as the British 10k London. We also organise our own running events, such as the Hemel 10K and Herts 10K, which we would love you to get involved in.

You can also run for Rennie Grove at the Virgin London Marathon. We already have our team for 2017, but if you have a place and would consider running for Rennie Grove, please visit our marathon section here.

Walking Challenges

At Rennie Grove, we organise our own walking challenges such as the  Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge, which is perfect for a family day out - even the dog can come along! And there are also organised walks available to join such as the South Downs Walk.

London to Amsterdam - Take part in this exciting cycle challenge. The adventure begins on the outskirts of London, takes in Calais, Bruges and Breda, and finishes in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. London to Paris - Cycling over 4 days and covering almost 300 miles, the London to Paris bike ride will take you on an exhilarating journey to and from two of the world most chic capital cities, whilst taking in views of the stunning English and French countryside on your way. Download an information pack and book online. We've recently added two more of theses fantastic events for 2017, Wednesday 19 April - Sunday 23 April book online and Wednesday 19 July - Sunday 23 July book online

At Rennie Grove, we also have our annual Chilterns Cycle Challenge, starting and finishing in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and we’d love to see you there!

Triathlon Challenges

raf_triathalon_3_maySince the Brownlee brothers' success in the 2012 Olympics, triathlons have been growing in popularity in the UK. Why not set yourself the challenge of competing in the three disciplines to raise money to support our services?
In 2017, we have 5 places to offer you for the AJ Bell London Triathlon, taking place on 22-23 July! This is an opportunity to take part in the world's largest triathlon, whilst raising funds for Rennie Grove's local hospice services. All you need to do is raise £500 to take part. Swimming Challenges

We're working with Swim Serpentine to provide you with the opportunity to take part in their fantasticSwimming in the Triathlon event on 16 September. Keep an eye on this page to find out more. 

Wacky, Weird and Wonderful - thinking outside of the box

Whether you are mad enough to jump out of a plane, do a loop the loop in a glider, give up alcohol for a year, dye your hair or stay silent for a week, there are a host of different weird, wonderful or wacky ways that you could raise money.

The ultimate test! Push your body and mind to the limit by taking part in one of the many endurance challenge events throughout the country. Why not try an Ironman, Steelman, or a Survival of the Fittest challenge? Alternatively, create your own endurance challenge - perhaps you fancy swimming the channel! Nothing is too mad to raise money for a good cause.

There are so many different challenges that you could do. Perhaps you want to take part in an overseas trek such as Mount Kilimanjaro, Great Wall of China, or Cuba Coast to Coast?
