If you've got a place in the 2018 London Marathon but don't have a charity to run for, please consider Rennie Grove. Get in touch with our events team to find out how we can support you!
If you're part of our marathon team, or you'd like to sponsor our full team (or even an individual member), please visit our Everyday Hero page here.
How we help you
We value our London Marathon team very highly and will look after you throughout your marathon journey. We even have a Rennie Grove cheering squad on the day of the event to spur you on! If you're running, but you don't have a chosen charity, please consider Rennie Grove and continue reading to see how we can help.
We host regular "meet the team" evenings where you can swap training notes and fundraising ideas and get to know us and your fellow team members. Weekly emails are sent with plenty of training and nutrition tips as well as the latest fundraising ideas for you to consider.
We ask each of our runners raise a minimum sponsorship and we are always on hand with practical fundraising support. We can help you with:
- Virgin Money Giving fundraising web pages
- Personalised sponsor forms
- Resources tailored to any fundraising event you may organise
Every member of our team will be given a breathable running vest that you can wear during your training and for the event itself, which greatly enhances the team spirit of the event.
As well as our "meet the team" evenings, we host a pasta night a few days before the event so that you can build up on your carb intake, compare notes with your fellow team members and share in the pre-race excitement. We also host a reunion after the race to congratulate you on your achievements and to thank you for being part of the Rennie Grove team.
We would love you to be a part of our team for next year's London Marathon! Please get in touch using the details below.
Thank you to our 2017 team!
After months of training and incredible fundraising, our runners tackled the 26 miles of London in fantastic times and we're so hugely proud of every single one of them.
