Do you dare to bare for Rennie Grove Hospice Care?
The Diogenes Sun Club is putting on a skinny dip charity event on Saturday 2 September 2017
. The event is being held as part of The Great British Skinny Dip Week and all proceeds will go towards Rennie Grove's vital services across Herts and Bucks.
The event will be hosted at an outdoor pool which is set among six acres of beautiful and secluded grounds. You'll have the chance to enjoy the grounds over tea and cake after your skinny dip.
Local resident Susan took the challenge last year, so we took a moment to find out what it was like to bare everything for charity: "The whole day was fantastic. With the sun shining and the outdoor pool looking incredibly inviting all we had to do was take our clothes off! The encouragement, friendliness and support of the members of the club and my fellow skinny dippers was just what was needed and we did it brilliantly. I am really glad I took part and would encourage people to take themselves out of their comfort zone and have a go. I set myself a fundraising target and smashed it twice! It was worth every naked minute and I would do it again in a heartbeat so that the nurses can continue to care for patients and their families."
So if you're aged 18 or over why not embrace your body, no matter its shape or size, and accept the natural beauty that it is whilst raising money for our charity at the same time!
