Visitors to Missenden Abbey’s annual Summer Fair will be able to enjoy more than 80 craft and gift stalls, local dance groups and bands, inflatables and kids’ activities, a hot air balloon experience, the Great Missenden Bake Off plus a beer tent and BBQ between 11am and 3pm on Sunday 10 July.
The event is raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care in memory of Martin Brown, Missenden Abbey’s longest-serving employee. The charity’s hospice at home nurses cared for Martin before he died in December 2015.
Volunteers from the charity’s Holmer Green shop will be manning a stall selling gifts and jewellery, plus the chance to win a fantastic selection of prizes in the tombola. All stallholders are kindly contributing prizes to an event-wide raffle raising funds for Rennie Grove and the charity will also receive all profits from visitors’ entry fees (£3 for adults and £1 for under 16s).
