Summer Fair fun at Missenden Abbey

Visitors to Missenden Abbey’s annual Summer Fair will be able to enjoy more than 80Rennie bear at Missenden Abbey craft and gift stalls, local dance groups and bands, inflatables and kids’ activities, a hot air balloon experience, the Great Missenden Bake Off plus a beer tent and BBQ between 11am and 3pm on Sunday 10 July.

The event is raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care in memory of Martin Brown, Missenden Abbey’s longest-serving employee.  The charity’s hospice at home nurses cared for Martin before he died in December 2015.

Volunteers from the charity’s Holmer Green shop will be manning a stall selling gifts and jewellery, plus the chance to win a fantastic selection of prizes in the tombola.  All stallholders are kindly contributing prizes to an event-wide raffle raising funds for Rennie Grove and the charity will also receive all profits from visitors’ entry fees (£3 for adults and £1 for under 16s).
