Santa’s sleigh is coming to town

The popular Santa float is returning to Tring, spreading season’s greetings and raisingSanta comes to town funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care.  The charity is still seeking volunteers to accompany Father Christmas on some of his rounds.

Rosalind Lee from Tring has volunteered before and says: “There’s a brilliant atmosphere of excitement and expectation.  It’s so lovely seeing children’s happy faces, thrilled to see Father Christmas coming down their street.  I was a bit nervous about knocking on people’s doors but the Santa Float is a real highlight for youngsters and parents alike.  People are happy to see us and donate very generously – helping us to raise around £4,500 each year.”
