Sunday December 4 will see the return of Rennie Grove Hospice Care’s Jingle Bell Jog and Reindeer Run to the streets of St Albans, starting at the Waterend Barn, St Peter’s Street.
Registration opens at 9:30am, where participants will be given their seasonal attire: reindeer antlers, topped off with a flashing nose for the 1.5km fun run, perfect for the little ones or a full Santa suit, complete with beard, for a festive 5km jog. After tapping their toes to some Christmas classics courtesy of Heart FM, reindeers and Santas alike will keep the frost bite at bay in an energetic warm up led by Everyone Active. All participants, whether naughty or nice, will receive a medal on finishing their race, kindly sponsored by Collinson Hall.
For those itching to ramp up that ‘festive feeling’ there is a prize of four tickets to the Willows Activity Farm, St Albans for the best dressed Santa or reindeer. Pull out your favourite Christmas jumper or dust off a trusty fancy dress costume. The prize will go to the most outrageous and imaginative outfit!
Time is running out to sign up online for this seasonal spectacular! On the day sign-ups are more than welcome; however, there are a limited number of spaces available, so register your place now to avoid disappointment at www.renniegrove.org/jinglebelljog
