Amersham resident, Mrs Jane Barnes, scooped the top prize in Rennie Grove Hospice Care’s Christmas Gourmet Raffle on Friday (16 December).
Mrs Barnes was delighted with her win and is looking forward to trying out the taste experience for two at Marcus Wareing’s 2 Michelin star restaurant. Mr Smith from Great Kingshill won second prize: a cookery masterclass at Paris House on the Woburn Estate and Rachel Greenwood won a dining voucher for 2 at the Crazy Bear. Marlow resident Ros Lewis is perfectly situated to enjoy her prize: a £50 dining voucher for Tom Kerridge’s restaurant, the Hand and Flowers in Marlow. Ros loves cooking and is delighted with her prize, not least because it also includes signed cookbooks!
More than 550 people purchased raffle tickets this year, helping to raise over £6,000 for Rennie Grove, which will fund nearly 250 hours of specialist nursing care in patients’ homes.
