New for 2017, Rennie Grove Hospice Care invites you to take part in the popular Three Peaks Challenge from the 15 to 17 September. This challenging hike has just 20 places exclusive to those wanting to raise money for the charity.
Trekking a mammoth distance of 44km, with a total ascent of 3000m, you will complete a climb of the tallest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales; this endeavor is not for the faint-hearted. In the space of 24 hours, participants will have scaled the heights of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
For those brave enough to sign up to the challenge, a deposit of £125 per person will need to be made in addition to a minimum of £600 sponsorship. The deadline for all deposits is Wednesday 1 March 2017.
Gillian Barnett, Director of Fundraising and Marketing says, “This is such an exciting challenge! The United Kingdom has stunning scenery and to experience them from some of the highest points would be wonderful. It is a great way to create lasting memories with family, friends and even colleagues whilst knowing that you are raising money to help a local charity that provides care and support to patients with life-limiting illness and their families.”
