Feel good, look good

Rennie Grove Hospice Care can provide you with a double-whammy feel-good factor for 2017.  Banish the January blues with a treatment at Grove House as part of the charity’s Mmm… Mondays scheme and relax in the knowledge that you’ll be making a difference to local families affected by cancer and other life-limiting conditions.

Qualified therapists offer 30-minute appointment slots between 10am and 1:45pm most Mondays.  From January until April you can enjoy a massage, reflexology treatment or Japanese Cosmo facial for just £20 (£22 for the Japanese Cosmo facial).  Full details of dates and treatments are available at here.

Places are limited so call 01727 731010 today to book your treatment.

Beauty salon support

The Skin to Love Clinic in St Albans is supporting Rennie Grove.  The luxury beautyskin to love salon held a collection for the charity last year and has donated raffle prizes to the value of £420.  Head of Fundraising in Herts, Kate Grigg, said: “We raise thousands of pounds through raffles at various events and it’s fantastic to have quality prizes to offer people thanks to local companies.  We really appreciate them collecting for us too; in-house collections raise not just vital funds but also valuable awareness of our service.”

Elaine Gray from Travelling Trends said:

“Travelling Trends have been running for 19 years and have helped many charitable organisations to raise money. This was the third annual show for Rennie Grove Hospice Care and it is always a pleasure to help raise money for such a worthwhile cause. The atmosphere on the night is always fun and the guest models are always motivated and show that anyone, no matter their age, size or disability can look beautiful and stylish. It boosts their confidence and adds a great element to the show where the audience can relate to the models and the clothes.

“We love what we do and we hope it comes across at each show. The staff at Rennie Grove are doing an amazing job and we hope that one of our fundraising evenings is an easy, relaxing event to organise and participate in.”
