Spring has come early in the Rennie Grove Hospice Care shop in Farnham Common. The team of dedicated volunteers at the charity shop on Beaconsfield Road have been working hard with Debbie, the Assistant Manager, to give the shop a pre-spring make-over, creating a more customer-friendly open space and welcoming atmosphere
A new look
Debbie and the team have created an inviting boutique-style shop layout with all high quality, good value ladies’ clothing colour co-ordinated and professionally displayed with matching accessories on separate island units.
Elizabeth Blackman (Liz), the longest-standing volunteer at the Farnham Common shop, is responsible for all the creative and eye-catching window displays which frequently attract customers’ attention and admiring comments. Local resident Liz works tirelessly every Thursday designing and dressing the shop window to a professional standard. She also volunteers her time on Saturday afternoons and is an invaluable member of the shop’s fabulous volunteer team - always upbeat and friendly to all staff, customers and friends of the Rennie Grove shop.
Debbie and her volunteers are saying a very fond farewell and huge thank you to Barbara, another of the shop’s long -serving volunteers who sadly is moving away from the area.
