Rennie Grove Hospice Care opened a new charity shop in London Colney this week.
Located at 184 High Street, London Colney, the shop is the 25th in Rennie Grove’s chain of charity shops across Herts and Bucks. It offers a range of new and good quality pre-loved items for sale, including men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and shoes; handbags and jewellery; children’s toys; books and ornaments. Shoppers can also buy from Rennie Grove’s range of Christmas cards as well as calendars and diaries for 2018.
Director of Retail and Trading for the charity, Deborah Gould, said: “We’re delighted to have opened our new shop in London Colney. Thanks to our generous donors, we have some beautiful items for sale and we look forward to welcoming new customers in the coming days and weeks. We pride ourselves on offering quality items for sale at affordable prices.”
Rennie Grove’s retail operation is responsible for contributing more than £2 million towards the charity’s £7.6 million annual budget.
“Donating items to be sold, working as a volunteer or buying items from our shops means that you are making a really important contribution towards raising much needed funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care. These funds mean that our nurses can continue to provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families. Every year through our 24/7 Hospice at Home service, our Family Support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House, St Albans we give thousands of patients the choice to stay at home, surrounded by their families and friends,” adds Deborah.
