Keen golfers are being sought to join a charity golf day that’s taking place at the prestigious Moor Park Golf Club on Monday 2 July.
"Tomsie’s charity golf day” – named after organiser Steve Toms - has become an annual event in our calendar. And with quality prizes and a delicious two course lunch on offer, in addition to an unmissable opportunity to play 18 holes in the grounds of a stunning 17th Century mansion, there’s every reason why you should snap up your place right now.

Paul Shearring from Abbots Langley will be one of the players taking part in the golf day – a mere 24 hours after completing the Cotswold Way 100K challenge. Paul is also raising funds for Rennie Grove. He said, “In 2016, I decided to walk the Thames Path 100k Challenge and finish in under 24 hours, which I managed to do with the help of my team members. Two years later I am walking again to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care, this time on the Cotswold Way 100k Challenge. I am so pleased that the funds I raise I will be making a difference to families going through such challenging times.”
You can add to the funds Paul has already raised for Rennie Grove via his Just Giving page here.
