Fashion guru brings style at teatime treat

Tea, cakes and fashion chat, all in the delightful relaxed surroundings of St Michael’s Manor in St Albans and all in aid of Rennie Grove. What could be more enticing?

style talkPopular style guru Caroline Jones (aka Knickers Model’s Own) is making a much-anticipated return to the Fishpool Street hotel on Tuesday 6 November, from 2-5pm, where she will once again entertain with her insights into how to make the best of your wardrobe and provide some well-timed autumn and winter styling hints.

A similar event in June was a sell-out, raising £1,500. One of our very own Rennie Grove volunteers will be styled by Caroline showing how to play with colour, layering and textures. Discover some top tips on styling to suit your own body shape, how to tap into high street trends and how to shop for accessories, with Caroline bringing along examples from her own rail of pre-loved and new pieces.

style talk 2Caroline said: “I’m thrilled to be hosting another style talk in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charity very close to my heart. Having lost my mum to breast cancer in October 2014, this time of year is particularly poignant and to host another style talk is my way of saying thank you to the incredible palliative nursing team and staff. I look forward to the fashion chat.”

Gemma Ralph, Senior Community Fundraiser at Rennie Grove said: “We are delighted that Caroline has offered to host another styling and fashion event for Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Last time it was a sell-out so we are encouraging people to buy their tickets early to avoid missing out.”

The event will also feature a pop up shop in a range of sizes, and a raffle.

Tickets are £20, which includes tea and cake. They are available here or by calling Gemma on 01727 731028.
