There’s certainly no reason to have an empty calendar for the month of March – especially if you happen to live in or around Tring.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care has laid on a trio of fundraising activities that include beer or fizz and fashion. So far so good!
If fashion and fizz are your thing then put a hold on Sunday 17 March for Rennie Grove’s “Let’s Talk Fashion” event with afternoon tea and a glass of prosecco. Back by popular demand, join inspirational fashion writer, Caroline Jones, aka Knickers Model's Own, as she shares her expertise on how to style up pre-loved fashions and offers top tips for getting the best from your spring wardrobe.
There will be a range of pre-loved high quality items for sale as well as a chance to win a glamorous raffle prize. Tickets cost £30 each.
A further fusion of fashion and fizz is happening in the evening of Thursday 21 March. Why not make it a girls’ night out and spend the evening with local boutiques Lolly and Mitch, Moo Boutique, Captain Tortue and Jorden Elizabeth Tailoring as they showcase their ranges and offer an exclusive shopping opportunity? Tickets are priced at a very reasonable £20 and include canapes and a glass of prosecco.
Finally – and what will make an ideal Valentine’s gift – is the ever-popular Tring Brewery tour. Taking place on Thursday 28 March, the tour takes in the brewing process, offers the opportunity to sample the beers and polish off the evening with a fish and chip supper.
Tickets are just £25 each with all proceeds from this – and all the events – will be donated to local Hospice at Home charity Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
Claire Redrup, Community Fundraising Manager at Rennie Grove said, “Our Tring Trio are all fun and sociable activities with the added bonus that as well has having a great time, you will also be making a donation to a local hospice charity. So why not get a group of friends together and have a great afternoon or night out?”
