Guy is currently the Assistant Director of Fundraising at The Royal British Legion, where he is responsible for a team of over 50 people and gross income in excess of £50 million. Prior to working in the charity sector Guy worked at a number of marketing agencies in London on a range of blue chip telecom and financial accounts.
Guy explains how he became involved with Rennie Grove:
“I have been a supporter of Rennie Grove for a number of years now and have participated in the March bike ride with my cycling friends, helping to raise money for the charity. Recently a friend of mine died from cancer and was cared for at home by a team of outreach nurses and he was able to die peacefully in his own home surrounded by his family. This brought home to me the importance of the services that Rennie Grove provides.
I have had significant experience within the Fundraising sector and am very keen to give something back, both in my local community, as I live in Buckinghamshire, and to such an important local charity.
I am delighted to have been appointed as a Trustee and I look forward to making a significant contribution to the charity in the years ahead”.
