Lesley Baillie is currently Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the Open University. She has previously worked in nursing, research and nursing education at other universities and in the NHS in London and in Buckinghamshire. Lesley is very keen on research and has focussed on dignity for older people and improving care for people who are living with dementia.
“I was attracted to be a Trustee for Rennie Grove because of the ethos: the person is at the centre of the care and the aim is to help people to stay at home in their community. Everyone I have met is so passionate about what they do and it’s so great that everyone really cares about excellent care at the end of life.
“In both my personal and professional life the services of Rennie Grove would have made such a difference.”
