Beverley’s husband Paul was cared for by our specialist nurses last Christmas and she remembers the support that the whole family received from Rennie Grove.

“Rennie Grove’s care and the network they set up gets the whole family through.  The nurses weren’t just looking after Paul but me, Kat, Andy, my parents… Their care is all-encompassing.  And that’s crucial at Christmas when access to other services is reduced and emotions are running high.” Beverley, wife of patient

Paul by Christmas tree

A precious Christmas gift

Christmas can be a very emotional time for families facing life-limiting illness. We know that many patients feel more alone, anxious and vulnerable than ever at this time of year. Being able to call for help at any time of the day or night is a precious Christmas gift.  That peace of mind can help patients and family members to relax and enjoy what could be their last Christmas together.

The difference your donation will make

£25 would pay for a member of our nursing team to spend an hour visiting a patient like Paul over the festive season.

£50 could fund a first assessment visit to a hospice at home patient to understand their needs and wishes.

£187.50 could pay for a full nursing shift for a Hospice at Home nurse, enabling them to care for patients at home over the festive season.

Any gift that you make will be greatly appreciated. We promise that every pound you donate will help keep more families at home together.
