This role is one of our widest and most varied as we need volunteers to support us in many different ways.

To raise the funds we need to provide our unique nursing services we rely on the generosity of the public.  Raising funds from charity collection days to fun, family, sporting, community days and sponsored events for all ages we can only maximise our fundraising with the help of Event Volunteers.

The Farm Run & Fun Run, Harpenden

Rennie Grove is proud to introduce a brand new fundraising event that’s going to have you head over hay bales with excitement – The Farm Run! Down on Hammonds End Farm, Harpenden, runners of all ages are invited to tackle obstacles varying in size and difficulty through the tracks and fields of the open countryside.

Chiltern 3 Peaks, All over the Chilterns

The Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge is a late-summer walk across the most beautiful countryside the Home Counties have to offer; whilst tackling the top of Whiteleaf Cross, climbing Coombe Hill and finishing by heading up the incline of Ivinghoe Beacon.

The Moonlight Walk, St Albans

The Moonlight Walk will truly be a night to remember. Starting at Westminster Lodge at 8pm participants will take part in a 10 mile walk around the streets of St Albans under the light of the moon.

Herts 10K, Harpenden

Held in Harpenden in October every year, this event is a beautiful multi-terrain course through the Hertfordshire countryside. Sponsored by Levy Associates, it is Rennie Grove's flagship event and attracts up to 2,500 runners and walkers of all abilities, ranging from novices to experienced athletes.

Jingle Bell Jog, St Albans

Hundreds of local residents will fill the streets of St Albans to take on this festive event starting at Waterend Barn, St Peter’s Street where Santa suit-clad & fun run participants will be lead through a warm up to keep the frostbite at bay before embarking on their races.
