Get your school involved in our most festive fundraiser this year - the Rudolph Run! If you’re a parent, teacher or even a volunteer who listens to the reading we want to hear from you.
Encourage your kids’ school or brownie/cubs pack to take part in a jolly jog and help support local patients with life-limiting illnesses who rely on our Hospice at Home service so heavily at Christmas time. Everyone who takes part will get a set of reindeer antlers! Here's how they can take part:
- Choose a date best suited to their December schedule and set their own route
- Decide how many laps they would like to set around the field or playground
- Make it more challenging by creating an obstacle course or get the children to hop, skip or gallop!
- Help to raise much needed funds
Our Children’s Team are out caring for children with life limiting illnesses every day of the year to help them to stay at home in the loving care of their families. This is particularly pertinent at Christmas time and If each family involved manages to raise at least £25 then together you will support our children’s nurses to keep more families together at Christmas
We will provide Rudolph Run sponsorship envelopes for your herd and the school can also set up a JustGiving page so that teachers, friends, families and local companies can sponsor the children online, click here for more.
Please do get in touch with our team of elves who can help with supporting your school or local club to to help our nurse keep families together at Christmas.
Good luck with raising lots of money, have tons of festive fun and remember we are here to help you with all of this so do get in touch if you need anything else from us. You can contact our community fundraising team via email here or by calling 01442 890222.
